Sveriges Designers Riksorganisation aims to contribute to better conditions for you and for all professionals in design. The goal is to work actively to strengthen and develop the design profession - both for individual members and for the entire industry.

As a member, you will gain visibility in our industry register, professional advising, help with declaration and accounting, as well as access to a grants and scholarships calendar.

As a member, you get support with intellectual property rights, access to contract templates, help with questions about salary and employee rights, as well as tools for profitability calculation.

Event calendar
The event calendar will list current events, exhibitions, seminars and educational opportunities within the design industry. You will also be able to list your own event.

As a member, you will receive our newsletter and an annual industry report. You will also have the opportunity to apply for residency programmes and scholarships and take advantage of membership discounts, etc.
A National Association for Professional Designers
The Swedish Designers' Association will work to strengthen the professional conditions for both its members and the entire industry. The organization's mission is to create favorable conditions for designers to successfully practice their profession, to increase understanding of their skills and professional role, and to act as a clear voice for the Swedish design corps both in Sweden and internationally.

Professional practitioners, students or previously active professional designers can be accepted as members.
When applying, you need to be able to show either a degree from a recognized education (or study certificate for student membership), or that you work in a professional position in the field of design - as an employee or entrepreneur - with documented professional qualifications through a CV and portfolio.
The association also welcomes company members operating in the design industry and networks/organizations/actors that contribute to promoting design.

Sweden's Designers Riksorganisation's membership fee for practitioners is 150 SEK/month. Students and senior members pay a reduced fee of 25 resp. 50 SEK per month. Company members pay a membership fee from 300 SEK per month depending on the size of the organization.
